Can Dannie make the right decision with your help? Dannie is an eleven year old aspergers; she is smart, friendly and very helpful. Due to the aspergers she finds it difficult to assess situations, work out what people think, and make daily choices, work out what people really mean. Understand emotions and sayings. Dannie see?s life though black and white there is no grey area. Dannie sometimes gets into trouble for taking people for what they say literally. Seeing life through Dannie?s eyes shows how emotionally difficult it is to understand the world that we take for granted every day. In The Right Shoes, Dannie struggles with a shop assistants attitude towards her. Dannie's mum had asked the assistant to be patient due to Dannie having Aspergers. The assistant takes Dannie's mum the wrong way and treats Dannie like a baby which only provokes Dannie which causes confliction between Dannie and the assistant. This is where Dannie's Dilemma begins, should she tell her mother or not? The reader will decide.
