There are also review pages that have all 26 letters, all 20 numbers, all 12 colors, and all 14 shapes. ***** The Cuddly Bears and balloons were hand-brushed with brush pens by artist Bearlyn. The shapes and words are also hand-drawn, which look more natural and are easier for children to reproduce than printed words. ***** Suggestions for using this book: (1) The first few times using this book, name the letters, numbers, colors, and shapes (like ?red heart?) and point to them. (2) Each time you read the book, point out something new (like ?yellow shirt?). Encourage the child to identify things with you, or on his or her own. (3) Encourage the child?s interest in reading.
