Through the Depths of My Soul Marie Therese

I read an article about being a writer; about how writing can sometimes make you crazy and plunge you into the depths of despair; but that most times, it will bring you unsurpassed joy, and drive you to great efforts you never imagined yourself capable of. I have found myself, sometimes, wondering if what I am writing about will raise eyebrows and questions as to my sanity, or to my view of a sometimes reality. So, when I realized that it is my privilege as a writer to express my feelings, my reality in any given moment, I decided to just let go and write; not to try to "dress things up" or write what I think people want to read, or to say only what I think people might want to hear. I need only be myself as I write. After all, this is what will, or will not, make my writings interesting and unique. And so, I shall speak a truth perceived within my mind; the one that is emanating from my heart and soul in the moments I write. Shall it be real or imagined, or both? Of course, as it is all a part of me, real and imagined, at different times, it shall be revealed through my thoughts and feelings as I write. And so you shall become a part of me, as you read. "Taken into the depths of my heart and soul, to where we conjunct as one, yet to surpass beyond all that might be my reality, into your own." m
