During the summer of 1863, the Army of the Potomac unexpectedly engaged the Army of Virginia in and around the thriving town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The Battle of Gettysburg raged for three days with Confederate forces in control of part of the town. Trapped in the crossfire, Sarah of Stone Creek seeks safety in the cellar of her cousin's home and quickly discovers shelter does not guarantee peace.
