Throughout his ordeal of becoming a vampire he actually makes some friends and learns something about his life, but not before making a lot of trouble for himself. Starved is different and unique when compared to what other books are available in the vampire genre. Its content should be entertaining and suitable for most young adult readers, as well as a quick exciting read for adults.
