Who remembers the euphoria of 2008 and early 2009? I do. My grandfather (born in 1929 and a world war II veteran) woke up the day after the results came in and said "I had a dream that the president was black". I remember the look in his eyes when I said "That wasn't a dream papa". My question is "Were the last four years what you expected?" Personally, I am a very different person than I was back in 2009. As such, I think this scripture speaks to where I am and where we are, now in 2012. 2 Peter 1:12 "Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth." Recessionproof: Remembrance is a full color walk through the mind of a black man and Obama supporter in 2008 and how the last 4 years have affected this position. It is also a referendum on the new concerns facing our people, our country and our world. It is finally a word of caution regarding the new age that is approaching in 2013.
