Life is so vast and sacred that it can be appreciated only as an experience. Life is basically a relationship with people and other parts of creation. It can never be totally described, explained or completely understood. However, we need to capture some aspect of this somehow to be fully human. Poetry, and even pithy sayings, are intensely personal insights, which use words to cast light upon what can never be logically dissected in any complete fashion. Consequently, poetry and intuitive sayings are like a dance we share with people who sense things beyond their ability to fully explain them. Yet, they have no other choice except to have a love affair with words to share what they have.
