After living in New Zealand and Scotland, Edie and Mike Nupuf moved to upstate New York to establish a medical practice. When they bought a nineteenth century farmhouse, complete with a barn and twelve acres of woods and fields, they thought "Why don't we raise sheep like the Kiwis and Scots?" With no prior farming experience, and armed only with a book called Raising Sheep the Modern Way, their Sheep Tales might be described as a mix of James Herriot meets Bill Bryson; heartwarming, informational and totally unpredictable.
