Marcellus Fizzlegrits was the product of a desire to teach my young children good moral character without all of the lessons coming from ?Dad and Mom?. Marcellus Fizzlegrits is inquisitive, impulsive and has the same desires as every child. This includes a desire to do the opposite of his parent's instruction. Contributor Bio: Moore, David Lawrence David Moore was born in Indiana in 1956 and currently resides in the Midwest. Many of the experiences of Fizzlegrits are loosely based on experiences of a young David Moore. David spent 8 years as a professional sign writer before attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and becoming involved for the next 19 years in two international Ministries. David has a wife, three wonderful children and 7 mega wonderful grandchildren. Fizzlegrits was created in the 1980s and was read to his children. David has tried to write Fizzlegrits from the perspective of a 7 year old. Sarah, David's youngest daughter, edits and illustrates each book with love.
