About the Author

Richard Tepler received his B. S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin, in Early Childhood Education and Vocational Rehabilitation. He taught preschool and kindergarten in the School District of Ladysmith for twenty-eight years.



After taking an early retirement, Tepler moved to the island of Roatan, Honduras, for five years. Returning to the United States, he taught an additional four years as a long-term substitute teacher for kindergarten.



Currently, Tepler is volunteering in 4k preschool and kindergarten classrooms. He continues to travel as much as possible and hopes to spend the long, cold winter nights of Wisconsin in a warmer climate.
