Contactul nemijlocit al autorului cu istoria straveche a Tripolitaniei ?i interac?iunea sa cu via?a de zi cu zi a libyenilor de rand, pe fundalul dorului nem?rginit pentru ?ar?, au facut posibil? scrierea acestor poeme. Culorile ?i tonurile acestor poeme sunt, in general sobre si triste, chiar ?i în partea finala a c?r?ii, unde victoria omului asupra vitregiei naturii, concretizat? prin finalizarea construc?iei drumului trans-saharian, este umbrit? de suferin?a ?i sacrificiile celor care ?i-au d?ruit câtiva ani buni, si poate chiar cei mai importan?i din via?a lor, realiz?rii acestui vis.

The author's direct contact with ancient history of Tripolitania and his interaction with everyday life of Libyans, amid boundless longing for his country, made possible the birth of these simple poems. The colors and tones of these poems are generally sober and sad, even in the final part of the book, where the joy of the victory of man over nature hardships, gathered through completion of trans-saharian road project is darkening by the suffering and sacrifices, of those who have dedicated some good years, and perhaps the most important from their lives, to achieve this dream.

Radu Andrei este autorul volumelor de poezie, A Breath on The Window or Brainstorming Pictures: and The Blue Science of Heart or Our Time Together" editate recent de editura Rosedog Books. Aceast nou volum reconstituie, jurnalul poetic al autorului, care in calitatea sa de inginer constructor, a îndrumat din punct de vedere tehnic, in perioada 1974 -1980, construc?ia primului drum, executat de inginerii români in Sahara Libyan? si anume drumul Tarhuna - Beny Walid.

Radu Andrei is the author of the poetry books: "A Breath on the Window or Braistorming Picture" and "The Blue Science of Heart or Our Time Together", issued recently by Rose Dog Books. This new volume reconstructs the poetic journal of the author, who in his quality of civil engineer, conducted between 1974 -1980, the first road project, constructed by Romanian engineers in the Libyan Sahara, namely the road Tarhuna - Beny Walid.
