At 63, Miguel Ortiz had been the picture of health until he suffered two near-consecutive strokes. He flat-lined twice and, facing certain death, he received the last rites twice. With God's help, he survived to become a born-again Christian.

There are Second Chances is the story of Miguel's recovery, his experiences with the supernatural, and his spiritual journey. Defying medical odds, Miguel survived to share this story.

About the Author

Miguel Ortiz is a native of New York, currently living in Georgia. He is the proud father of two sons. He is a novice writer, an avid golfer, and a veteran of the War in Vietnam. Miguel worked for UPS for 22 years.

He is happy to have survived his health scare to live to write about his journey back and his recovery.
