About the Author



Leanne Van Dongen is a fourteen-year-old inspiring author who lives with her parents in the lower mainland of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Leanne has always loved writing stories at both school and at home. She came up with the idea of writing the "Showtime" collection when she was twelve years old. Kate the Great is the first book Leanne has written for the collection. Other than writing, she also enjoys figure skating.
