When fifteen year old Drazen's mother dies in a plane crash, he's left with his dad, sister, stepmother, and two stepsisters. His dad dies mysteriously; sending Drazen and his sister to an orphanage because their stepmother doesn't want them. His only hope becomes a couple of very strange orphans, his dog Goby, and his own wits while he lingers on the edge of complete darkness.
