When Gwydion's adventures start, he is forty years old building magnificent Lego sculptures in the room he had lived his entire life. Besides his Legos sculptures and his Joan Collins poster the world does not have much to offer. After breaking his neighbor's window, Gwydion is forced to pay a $950 fine. As soon as he scores some money from several snake oil con jobs, instead of paying the fine, Gwydion meets a midget prostitute at a motel, whom he begins to pimp from his parent's home. As he sinks into this abyss of debauchery, Gwydion has many misadventures while contending with many characters. Detective McMurphy ? Nearing his retirement, this weathered Fort Lauderdale detective erroneously believes that Gwydion is the lord of the largest prostitution ring in the Southeast. Cassandra ? Gwydion has known her since elementary school. She is Gwydion?s best and only friend. At six foot four this behemoth spends much of her time battling any people that threaten Gwydion. Clinton ? The father of the midget prostitute who is also the ringleader of a circus. When he finds out about his daughter?s death, he travels to Gwydion?s parent?s home to avenge her death. Bertha ? The fat lady in the circus, who victimizes Gwydion requiring him to attend classes. This is the first of several books about Gwydion?s misadventures.
