A tender story about a child being guided by her departed grandmother, who hears her through her own intuition. The story takes place on Jamie's birthday, where there are three occasions that she is tempted to behave poorly. At those times she is receiving internal cues of guidance from her grandmother, who is standing near her, and who is actually seen by the reader. Later that night Jamie dreams of her grandmother who congratulates her on a day well done. This story is just another reminder for children, that we are never alone, and that our loved ones live on in spirit.
