Divine Inspirations is a collection of poems inspired directly by God. These poems came to me in a season of great need. I am a writer, and I had a desire to learn to write more creatively, but did not want to go back to school. I prayed ?God, give me something.? God then began to fill my mind with scriptures, old sermons, and Bible stories I had heard years before. I began to write these thoughts down and later pulled them together into poems. As I began to write these poems, I did not want them to be about me. I did not want them to be filled with sad personal issues, immorality, or anything inappropriate. I wanted the poems to be about the awesomeness of God, and I wanted his character to speak to those that read them. These poems are all about the Father. They cover topics such as God?s power, his love, the works of his hands, and his son, man. God gave me the title of the book during Bible Study and the front cover is a vision God showed me many years ago. As I wrote these poems, God taught me to never doubt the things he gives you because they are powerful gifts. Hopefully you are using your gifts and talents, but if not, I hope you are encouraged to tap into your gifts. Ask God what your gifts and talents are and how he would have you use them. God has given every man a talent. It is up to you to develop them and put them to use. I enjoyed this writing process more than words can say, and I pray that you are blessed, enriched, and inspired by these poems.
