Publisher Marketing: PRINTING PRACTICE - Phrases of Wisdom provides the student with the opportunity to develop a good and legible printing style through practice. There are fifty phrases of wisdom related to life in this book, and there is space to practice printing each phrase. The teacher may choose to assign a particular phrase to a student, or even the entire class, based on need. The phrases are all listed in the Table of Contents. On the practice page, the phrase is presented twice, once in classic print style, and again as a beginning student might print it. In this way, the student is able to view the optimum print style desired, but also a quite legible style that is a little ragged so that the student is not intimidated and feeling pressured to be perfect. Following the phrase of wisdom are lines for the student to practice printing by writing the phrase, perhaps learning a little spelling during the process. While some phrases may be too advanced for a young or less mature student to comprehend in written form, it gives the teacher an opportunity to expand the meaning of the phrase and how it may apply in the life of the student. In the margins is some room for doodling if permitted, and may make the learning process a little more fun for the student.
