Revolution of the Heart
Michel Leroux
Why have we lost trust in ourselves, in our fellow humans, and in our communities? The need for a better life for all has never been as apparent as it is now. Our collective denial of the reality of suffering is being confronted. Perhaps we live in times where it has become luxurious thinking to believe that someone else will fix the problems related to the environment, the economy, social injustices, international conflicts, human trafficking, or poverty. We cannot change something we are not aware of. For this reason, if we are to have any hope of changing the foundation of the current collective paradigm that is based on fear and survival, we need to understand its dynamics and how it controls us rather than nurtures us. Just being open to the possibility that all is not what we have been led to believe opens the door to infinite potentials of creating a new paradigm based on compassion and community.
