I've been good so far is the story of a young woman who has been forced to live a life she would never have willingly chosen for herself. Flossie was born with an Intellectual Disability and Autism. She was only thirteen years old when her mother put her in full time care. Flossie has never found peace residing in the disability system because it appears unwilling or unable to meet her needs. Flossie has experienced discrimination and cruel punishment during her troubled life she has survived it all with her childlike innocence, happy spirit and sense of humour intact. Flossie's mother tells her daughter's story. Flossie can't fight the discrimination she receives, so her mother fights against it for her. I've been good so far is a story of a young disabled woman's survival, and her mother's determination to see her daughter is allowed the freedom to live her life to the best of her ability.
