I am a young woman of twenty-seven years. I was born in Dinokeng, a small gold mining town in Johannesburg, South Africa. Like any other cultured African woman, I believed men were supposed to love us and that we had to respect them. Well, this was before I met reality, which exposed me to child sexual abuse, teenage pregnancy, and emotional and physical abuse by a husband. This reality exposed me to the pain of a broken heart. It is ironic, though, that the same reality revealed to me my purpose in life, which is to share laughter, bliss, and happiness and to love truly. I am a woman made of man.
