Contributor Bio:  West, La'tonya I was born on November 24, 1982 to Angela Branch and Paul Hill Jr. I was raised in Boykins, VA, which is a small town in Southampton County. I am the oldest child of both my mother and my father. I have three younger sisters. I am also a mother of three; I have two girls and a son. I just recently relocated from Virginia to Savannah, GA. I started writing when I eleven. Growing up I had a rather rough childhood and so writing became my escape. I would get a notebook and write different fiction stories and give them to my aunt to read. Throughout the years I continued to write stories and poems and it became not only an escape but it became something that I loved to do. At the end of 2008, I wrote my first book, Consequences, and self-published it. I am currently working on my second book and once I am done with that I will began working on a Part 2 to Consequences.
