We can either develop our "Own-Character" (that is, our own human intellect, emotions, and desires), OR we can develop His "Spiritual-Character" (that is, feeding upon and embrace the principles of God's word); principles which are found in the book of Proverbs. The goal of this teaching is to enable us to recognize the difference between good and evil by the discerning of the spirit, and not by our life experiences. God encourages us to do what is right, just, and fair, no matter what the subject, difficult situation, or problem you may face. His utmost purpose for us is that we be transformed in his image. Being transformed is all about our identity. Seeing yourself through the eyes of God will change your priorities. Knowing who you are in Christ is vital to your wholeness as a believer. This can only be developed by the word of God through faith, the study of the scriptures, and the Holy Spirit." She is a motivational speaker, a committed steward who regularly performs workshops to empower women, Director of the Women's Ministry at Johnston Piney Grove Baptist Church of Clayton, NC, and a servant who walks in the principles of God. She has been affiliated with The Woman's Baptist Home and Foreign Missionary Convention of N. C. since the late 1970's, and currently serves as Chairperson of the Minister's Wives and Widows Fellowship. She has been speaking for women's events for more than 25 years, and her passion is to encourage women of all ages to step out on faith and be all God wants them to be! She has been married for 42 years to the Rev. Theodore Breeden. They have three children and five grandchildren.
