Deirdre MacKenzie is the leader of Baltimore?s Sorcerers and a Special Agent for the Bureau of Paranatural Investigations. She works with her Baltimore Police Department detective partner Joseph Lupelli and their Cold Cases Team trying to solve paranatural homicides. The last thing Deirdre expects on a night out on the town is to end up magically bound to the Vampire Spymaster of the City, Deacon.
