This book features recipes from nine farms in the Northeast Georgia Mountains and colorful interviews with the farmers. Award winning Chef Jamie Allred creates three recipes around each farm in order to bring an authentic field?to-table experience to his patrons. The recipes incorporate unique ingredients native to the area: apples, beets, Swiss chard, winter squash, eggplant, carrots, kale, leeks, and sunchokes, to name a few. Former Atlanta Journal -Constitution writer and winery owner Martha Ezzard collaborated on the writing and wine pairings which highlight area wineries.
