Publisher Marketing: When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a mother. I wanted a bunch of kids. It never occurred to me that God would have a different plan for my life. But, early into my pregnancy, it became evident that my body was not handling physical stress well. I was eventually hospitalized. My body and pregnancy required constant monitoring. Over the course of my pregnancy, my body suffered near kidney failure and severe water retention. I could barely move or bend my limbs. Eventually, my blood pressure skyrocketed. This perfect storm of medical conditions resulted in an eclamptic seizure and doctors were forced to deliver Noah at 24 weeks, 4 days gestation. According to the doctors, Noah and I were not supposed to survive the night. Our experience, specifically our four-month journey through the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), changed our lives. God taught us to rely on Him for strength, to pray specifically for miracles, and to allow him to carry our burdens and fears. This book is a collection of stories from our journey. Each answer to prayer was so perfectly executed, I have no doubt we were blessed time and again, to watch the work of of our loving God. My prayer is that these stories inspire you to step back from your anger, pause from asking questions, and quite simply pray for God to reveal Himself in the midst of your situation. God will reveal His glory. He will cover you with perfect peace, carry your burden, and provide rest for your soul...if you simply ask.
