The Adventures of Spunky and Spuds
Irene Pedregon
Spunky and Spuds are two very special puppies. Spuds is calm and does what he is supposed to do, but Spunky is adventurous, troublesome, and very curious. They love to have fun and run and play-and Spunky loves to explore and get into mischief along the way.
They love to go to the doggy park with their owners, Will and Connie, and their mother, Raisin. Spunky and Spuds know they should listen to their mother and not run into the street, but Spunky gets very excited and forgets. The puppies know they shouldn't talk to strangers either, but when Spunky sees a boy from the neighborhood, his curiosity gets him into trouble. And when Bruno, a dog who doesn't listen to his parents, comes to visit, Spunky may find himself in a very bad situation.
This children's story tells the tale of two puppies who must learn some very important lessons about the world around them in order to be safe.
