Quiet White L: the Promise Despina

Publisher Marketing: The Promise is the first story to come into the public domain in the Quiet White series. It is story L because, although it needs to be read first, in the whole chronology of the series it comes neither at the beginning nor the end. Here you will meet Becky and Becks; first friends and then brother and sister - that's when the problems begin. You will meet Mum (Melanie) and Dad (Tom). You will hear how the children break a promise and the consequences of their actions. You will adventure with them as they enter into the world of The Mer*, and meet creatures of the deep, including a Seahorse and the Poisoned Lizard that stalks land and sea.. You will discover Dad's long forgotten story from a time when he was a child with his twin brother Toby. You will also find out the Poisoned Lizard's own closely guarded secret. You will wonder at the decisions one of the children has to make, and perhaps consider what you would do in their place.
