Kate, and the children, eventually follow him into a world of Truth and Peace. They become aware that the baby is, though, unplanned, part of His plan. Aletheia Irene: Truth and Peace: The Finale takes place primarily in the McClouds' downstairs bedroom, due to Kate's tenuous medical condition. Once selfish and prideful, she extends herself and assists someone in need. Her act of kindness helps her grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord and His Word. Instead of months of anxiety and boredom, Kate's life, and the lives of her family and new friends experience joyful and heartbreaking twists and turns. Kate is bound by four walls, but is awed as she experiences freedom she never had when ambulatory. Christie's graduate degree in marriage and family counseling has given her insight when writing her articles and novels. She and her high school sweetheart, Michael Indest, were married in 1970 and have three married children, six grandchildren, and a huge extended family most of whom live near them in the New Orleans area.
