His parents left at an early age and Bast was raised by a Dwarven warrior. Bast learns the importance of adapting to and overcoming circumstances beyond his control. The laws of creation and opposites. He isnt always successful in his endeavors, but he does learn to persevere. There is always a choice. Tuatha and dragons, elves and dwarves.
