For intermediate to upper-intermediate players, these ragtime pieces were written originally for piano, and recently arranged by the composer for woodwind trio. They are quite contrapuntal throughout, enabling each part to be interesting to play. They include a lot of syncopated rhythms, as may be expected in the ragtime genre. You will find some interesting chromatic changes. Basically, they are toe-tapping upbeat, cheerful pieces.
