The 92nd Annual Meeting of the National Conference on Weights and Measures was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, July 8 - 13, 2007. The theme of the conference was United by common purpose we can and shall prevail in all that we do. The NCWM develops and recommends laws and regulations, technical codes for weighing and measuring devices used in commerce, tests, methods, enforcement procedures, and administrative guidelines for adoption byregulatory agencies in the interest of promoting uniformity of requirements and methods in state and local jurisdictions. The annual meeting brings together government officials and representatives of business, Industry, trade associations, and consumer organizations for the purpose of hearing and discussing subjects that relate to the field of weights and measures technology.
