Jesus has been my closest companion and ally on this often painful journey through life. He loves me even though many, in this world, have rejected me on the basis of my transsexual identity. This is a Christian apologetic that takes a provocative look at Jesus's ministry in the hopes of building some bridges to a number of people that may feel ostracized by the words and actions of a number of mainstream Christians. I hope to provide a healing, validating Christian ministry for my fellow members of the LGBTQ community. In this work I expand upon two important underlying bases for Jesus Christ's ministry. These basic foundations are His self-sacrificing love and His open inclusiveness. I also explode the prevailing need/myth, subscribed to by many in the Christian community, that strives to connect Jesus's ministry with a sense of conservative "appropriateness". Jesus transcends any modern-day group identities.
