Now we had some new powers the Merlins was headed back 't get Genghis Khan's treasures out 't where they'd do some good fer a whole lot of folks needin help. They shore wasn't doin anybody any good sittin in that tomb of his. There was treasures from seventy seven kingdoms the Great Khan had conquered. The trick was 't get 'em all back 't Xanadu 'n then on over 't Santa Fe. With the help of the Prefect 'n the people of Xanadu there was more than ten thousand Chinese men workin on movin those treasures. Trouble was we had hoards of Mongol warriors determined 't get them treasures fer themselves. When we was on our way 't Peking we was set upon by hunder'ts of Chinese bandits ever bit as determined 't get them treasures as the Mongols. I was thankin my luck stars fer havin the Gatlin guns cause they shore had them bandits screamin fer mercy. Course we was usin our powers on 'em too. That wasn't the end of things by any means. Once we set sail for San Francisco we had Chinese pirates comin at us from behind 'n in front both. They fooled us on that pincer move. While us Merlins was takin care of those comin up from the rear, the ones attackin from the front had Long John's fleet in real peril. Guess yer just gonna have 't jump in this adventure with us cause there's a whole lot more we gotta go through 't get 't Santa Fe. I don't know what 't tell bout preparin fer this one.
