Nadukwe Amenaci has escaped Nuiinia Prime. Still a hunted fugitive on the run from Nuiinian justice, he is determined to comb the stars in search of Colonel Sifonemus Meo and continue his quest against the villainous Shroud of Shadows secret order. But before Nadukwe can find the lost military hero and rout the ancient society obsessed with destroying Nuiin civilization, he must endure the sanctimonious judgment of Supreme Inquisitor Tomosis Torqemada and his resolve to strike a crippling blow to the schemes of the Shroud. The fate of the cosmos hangs in the balance as the Shroud of Shadows pushes forward to dominate all the species of the Galaxy of Light.
