He is a father of three, a divorcee, a husband, a veteran, a machinist, a fabricator and a musician. Once asked how he would best describe himself, he paraphrased the song "The Pilgrim" by Kris Kristofferson: A poet, a picker, a pilgrim and a preacher, and a problem when he's stoned.
