A necklace fell from the sky one dark night. Ankius put it on having no idea what it is or where it will lead him. Two groups from two different places and different times meet to try and stop an unfolding catastrophe. The first group started with the accidental gladiator, Ankius. Yuki, a deaf dumb teenager with a gifted pet monkey, joins Xerces and Dzann. A terrible accident at a secret research facility went horribly wrong and left her an orphan. Both groups are united by powers beyond their comprehension to stop the advance of intelligent machines from overrunning all humankind. How can they stop the stronger, faster and smarter machines?
