Contributor Bio:  Stokes, Louise My name is Christopher Mark Stokes, i was born on 8th January the same day as my favorite singer Elvis Presley, i live in walsall in the west midlands, and i used attend willenhall e-act academy where i attained 7 GCSE's at A-C grade in various subjects including English, at my time at school i was quite shy and reserved, but i liked it that way and my conserved manner allowed me to concentrate on writing and working at school, i always enjoyed writing and my teachers often praised what i did even when i was a little older and began writing my C. V, they began acknowledging the way in which i wrote it and the words i chose to use to express my thoughts, i found then that i was good with words and could write more efficiently than those around me but at that time i had never really thought of trying to write as a career choice. So I went on to further my education at 6th form level where i eventually achieved level 3 diplomas in I. C. T and Physical Education. I eventually left 6th form after two years and didn't really know where i was heading next in life and university was never an option for me and i never thought about it as something that suited me as a person. However as i thought of what i would want to do and what i would enjoy doing i realized that maybe i could try writing and try and turn my passion and my hobby for writing and creating stories into a career, as i have always had a passion for it since i was very young when I started out writing three page short stories at the tender age of eight. During my first year at 6th form i had an idea for a book, i don't where it came from, the idea just sprang into my head and filled my imagination with characters and a story line, i noted down the ideas before i lost them forever and began work on writing my first ever full length book, some time passed and i have now just finished that first book, i entitled it 'The Distant Glimmer' and headed for the amazon eBook self publishing service to allow others to read what i had created, to give me a better chance of becoming an author and having eventually got my dream job. i have now also begun writing for younger age groups from 2 year old's to 12 year old's so that i can reach an even wider audience and give more people enjoyment when they read, my main goal is to try and get people to enjoy reading my books as much as i enjoy writing them
