Having experienced another surreal series of events, life is finally returning to normal For Kris and Hazel Van Helsen. However, the peace is short lived as the infamous 'Van Helsen Curse' strikes again, and, once more, their lives are thrown into chaos as the Commissioner of Police enlists their help in locating a n important piece of evidence, which has mysteriously gone missing from the evidence room at Police Headquarters. But, this 'evidence' is in the form of his ex wife, and Hazel's arch enemy, Cassandra's memoirs, which have inexplicably, and miraculously, survived. The Commissioner of Police wants them found, as they contain sensitive information which could threaten the security of Kris's home country of Norway...but nothing is what it seems. Their search leads them to Holmenkollen, where Kris is reunited with an old adversary from his past, Thomas Berg, who goes to extreme lengths to antagonise and upset him, resulting in the ultimate showdown between the two of them, and placing Kris in a life threatening situation. But...there can only be one winner. Will Cassandra's memoirs be found? Or will she get her revenge from beyond the grave?
