This is a textbook for one semester course in differential equations designed for students who have completed the ordinary course in elementary calculus. I hope that this book can enable the student to learn enough examples and methods in differential equations. It has been the purpose to limit the amount of material to what can readily be covered in the classroom for a semester of four hours per week and to select those topics for discussion that the student who expects to teach differential equations or to continue the study of differential equations might well know.
