As winter approaches its time for Mona the Monarch butterfly to seek warm weather. She starts her journey alone hoping to find her relatives and together fly from North America to the mountains of central Mexico. Mona decided to rest her wearied black, orange and white wings on a ship that was oncoming land. While traveling she met new friends who motivated her to continue her voyage. Will Mona make it to Mexico? Do you think she will reunite with her relatives again?
