Contributor Bio:  Shaeffer, Don-Paul Don-Paul Shaeffer was born and raised in Australia. He came to writing after an interesting and successful career travelling the world as a photojournalist exploring great cities and venturing to isolated communities meeting unusual individuals in many walks of life. With this wealth of memories and experiences to draw upon he decided to blend these with his imagination and take up novel writing. To put these on paper in words instead of pictures turning his zeal for travel and photography into words, and a new passion was born. As a writer he can be a king or a scoundrel, a spy, a child, a woman, a man, all in many guises, in many diverse walks of life and can live in many centuries, in many cultures, some of beauty and some of horror, doing deeds of all conceivable kinds. Being a writer allows him to move away from the narrow confines of a single person's persona into the mind and motivation of many. To create characters, watch them develop then emerge from the page to take on lives their own is likened to a mythological god controlling the destiny of his characters in a world he has created. He currently chooses to live in an expansive cottage in a wooded area on the outskirts of a major Australian city. He has at this time written and self published six books.
