This book was prepared with the singers, musicians, dancers, ministers of music, worship leaders & congregation - The Worshipping Levites in mind, based on scripture and the real life of a Levite. Many are called, but few are CHOSEN! Therefore it is incumbent upon those that have ministered and worked in this area of ministry for a number of years to share with other Worshipping Levites tools and things that are necessary to help them to be better at what they are called to do. Even if it means pulling you out of your comfort zone to bring forth what God has called you to do, that is simply what you must do when you are CHOSEN! Once you have the knowledge and understanding of who you are and what you are called to do, NO ONE and I do mean NO ONE will have to tell you about your assignment and the posture to have when you enter in to Worship. Once you have applied the information, it will impact your activities, as well; your whole life, ministry and purpose will change. This Book gives an Overview of the musical journey of the Author; a Brief History of the Levites; a Brief synopsis From Ancient Music to 21st Century Gospel Music - Things as they pertain to the Worshipping Levites; Scriptural breakdowns of various terms that pertain to the Worshipping Levites. This Book was also written to help support The Bay Area Levites Forum, Inc. Every book that is purchased will assist this organization founded by the Author to educate, empower and encourage fellow Levites throughout the Northern California/Bay Area. This will help fund their Summer Youth Camp for Youth ages 5-17 years of age, as well as the Annual Christmas Celebration, where they help undergird and support fellow Worshipping Levites and their families that have fallen on hard times.
