When researching for this book I realized how in many ways we were more enlightened in the 1600?s and 1700?s than we are today. During our early years as a nation we embraced and accepted the use of primary languages as a natural phenomenon. Our changes in policy and action have left millions of students in negative learning environments. The political influences on Education are egregious and have created a class of second class learners and citizens.
