A Step Forward into the Past: a Man and a Woman Sandi Badash

This is a story of two people in their late thirties living in California who meet and believe they've fallen in love. It is also more far reaching because of their personal connection to the story of Santa Barbara, California and nearby Summerland; the history of Spiritualism and the Chumash Indians. Sal's connection to the latter is one of the driving forces in this story and how it unconsciously affects his current life and future. Through unexpected occurrences, he feels an affinity to his earlier relatives, and is drawn into stepping forward into the past. He and Alexandra, more commonly known as Alex, are brought closer to the other side of life during the ups and downs of their own complex relationship.
