As God's family, the church, should order its lives in a particular way. Paul writes to young pastor Timothy so that he "may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth." (1 Timothy 3:15) This book will encourage and challenge you to behave in a manner that is fitting for God's family, the household of the living God. May your love for God and for His family, the church, grow in knowledge and depth of insight so that you may be able to discern what is best and be filled with the fruit of righteousness until the day of Christ Jesus.
