King Sibikuro devises a stratagem for siphoning his country's treasury to enrich his Kingmakers and himself. Soon they become multi-millionaires, in contrast to the citizenry who Wallow in abject penury. Worse hit is the Oil-rich Ofirima Region, one of the six Regions of Nameria, which is grossly underdeveloped. The people can no longer bear the hardship. They react violently. King Sibikuro responds by systematically eliminating his perceived opponents, including some members of his cabinet. In the ensuing revolt, Minabo, one of the dissenting Kingmakers emerges champion of the struggle for the birth of a new Nameria Republic. But the victory goes to King Sibikuro in a heavily doctored election. But the people say they've had enough of Sibikuro...
