Samantha thought she had finally left her bad childhood memories behind her when she moved to Oklahoma City to start her new business as an Interior Decorator. When she receives a call to decorate one of the million dollar homes, she feels she has finally made it, but everything starts to go wrong. Her new client is apparently wanted by the FBI. She only found out when she witnessed the dumping of a dead body and told the local police. The FBI agent assigned to protect her decided she would be safer and harder to find if she went back to the small town of Clovis, New Mexico and her old family farm. Samantha fails to inform the handsome agent that there may be people in Clovis who are still angry at her for what she did when she was fifteen. Luke Smith feels confident that he can protect her and help repair her house at the same time; but he fails to consider the feeling he developed for his witness. Can he keep from spooking her since she doesn't allow anyone to touch her? Can he keep his hands and feelings to himself?
