This book contains two Life in Jesus booklets - 'Praying for Others' & 'Praying for Yourself' It's so easy for prayer to become just something that you feel you ought to do. And praying for other people and for yourself can become simply a shopping list of requests with no real expectation that God will answer, especially when nothing seems to change. And the more it feels that way, the less you will want to do it. That's not how God wants it to be. He loves you and wants you to enjoy your relationship with Him, and that includes praying. 'Praying for Others' looks at how Jesus and Paul prayed for other people and how using the 'may' principle can help you pray with confidence. 'Praying for Yourself' looks at how you can pray for yourself and expect to see answers. God wants your prayers to be part of a living relationship with Him - not a burden, but something you enjoy.
