On a tiny island far away, two children go on a dangerous quest to find a precious gem that is rumoured to have the power to save their country. Traveling in their magical time machine, the children face off with a notorious River Queen and encounter different creatures who teach them valuable lessons along the way. Under the supervision of their strange but affable guide, Patoo, the children go on a journey that will teach them about themselves, each other, and the true value of a gem.
